What happened: A man in Florida was arrested after inviting police to come over for a quality-control check of crystal methamphetamine that he purchased at a local bar. The Florida man was identified as Thomas Eugene Colucci and called 911, whose call was recorded as, “Colucci thought that the meth was actually bath salt and that he wanted to protect others from the fake meth.” Details: The Florida police is quoted by New York DailyNews as “Colucci told deputies he had recently purchased meth from a male he met in a local bar. After having used a bit of it, he believed it was actually bath salts.” However, the police arrested Thomas for owning illegal narcotics and the 41 year old was also charged with two counts of possessing drug paraphernalia. More: News18.com quoted the development as, “Colucci seemed to have had everyone’s best interest at heart, though. He told the cops that he did not want others to be tricked into buying fake meth from the same drug dealer. Colucci wanted the dealer to be really put into trouble after the meth he got from him.”
