What happened: A recruitment firm in the United Kingdom is offering all-inclusive holidays for its employees as they state, “This initiative was taken to motivate the employees who worked during the pandemic.” The Yolk Recruitment firm is taking 55 of its staff on a four-day holiday to a volcanic island in the Atlantic, known as Tenerife.
Details: BBC News reported that the firm in Cardiff is offering 55 of their employees the all-inclusive holiday and they are willing to spend more than 100,000 pounds on holiday. As the publication quotes this, “ The company started in Cardiff 14 years ago and said the pandemic had seen it go through its hardest time in 2020 but also its most profitable period last year.” Apart from this, the company’s Chief Commercial Officer stated, “2020 was a really tough time on our whole industry – we went from the jobs market being put on hold to going into overdrive.”
More: Pavan Arora, recruitment company’s CCO, also stated that in a bid to encourage the employees and motivate them, the 4-day holiday break has been offered to the employees.
