Female blogger apologises for compromising the “sanctity” of Kartarpur corridor

What happened: According to reports, a private clothing brand was heavily criticized for doing a photoshoot at the Kartarpur corridor. It was alleged that the female blogger did a photoshoot at the religious place without a “duppata” on her head. At the same time, an Indian journalist tweeted that the female blogger’s photoshoot had “hurt the religious sentiments of Sikhs.” Details: Ravinder Singh Robin, the Indian journalist, also tagged Prime Minister @imrankhan.pti to highlight the matter. Subsequently, the photoshoot incited solid religious sentiments among the Sikhs. As Manjinder Singh wrote, “Pak court issued arrest warrant of Star who did dance video at Mosque; same must be done against this woman.” The president of Delhi Sikh Gurudwara, while condemning the incident, credited it as “totally unacceptable.” Whereas, @sohaibnehal tweeted, “Apologies, sir. In Pakistan these social media stars and influencers have lost their minds… No one should be allowed to disrespect any1’s religious places.” Also: However, the incident was also recognized by CM Punjab’s Focal Person, as Azhar Mashwani wrote, “Forwarded to concerned authorities for legal action.” The Instagram page that did their photoshoot at the Kartarpur has taken down the page while clarifying. The clothing brand Mannat Clothing’s statement quoted by a private publication read, “The pictures and posts have been removed from all of our media channels. Again, we apologise wholeheartedly for hurting the public sentiment. Believe us when we say he had no such intention.”
