Details : According to a statement by the Prime Minister’s Office, the IGP is personally monitoring the case after the arrest of the accused to ensure proper criminal action.
“The premier was informed that all scientific methods are being used to collect more evidence. The IGP also informed the prime minster about the law and order situation in Islamabad,” the statement said. The Islamabad police, after the arrest of four suspects allegedly involved in the torture of a couple, on Friday said that a fifth suspect, Bilal Marwat, has been arrested.
