Quite a few Chinese food stalls and dhabaas have opened up around Lahore and the numbers keep increasing. These places are bringing Chinese food to the streets at the cheapest of prices.
- Chinese Dhaba is located in Moon Market, Block C1, Faisal Town, Lahore. Their menu includes soups for appetizers, 4 different types of chicken gravies and rice and ‘spagettI’ as sides. 1 gravy with a side of either rice or spagettI costs around Rs. 150-250.
2. Live Chinese is a ‘Chinese Dhaba’ located in Cavalry ground in front of Khalid Masjid. Their servings start from Rs.200 and go upto Rs.250. All entrees are served with a side of rice and a serving of Chicken Chowmein can be ordered separately for Rs.200 if you wish to have it. If you pay a visit do try their special soup which has all the hype!
3. Mir Arif Chinese Restaurant is located Near Mughalpura Chowk, Lahore. Their menu includes soups ranging between Rs.60 to Rs.120 per serving. 18 different types of Chicken Entrees ranging from Rs.180 to Rs.290 served with a side of rice. A group of 3-4 people can order from the family menu which costs somewhere between 600-800 in total.
4. Meer Chinese Food is located at E-435-15,F-A Sheraz Villas Road, Near SHifa Hospital, Madinah Colony, Walton Road. They have a good reputation for selling cheap but hygienic Chinese food. Gravy prices start from Rs.220 which can be ordered along a rice serving (starting Rs.250) to have a complete meal for 2-3 friends.
5. Typical Chinese Food used to be a stall selling Chinese food that has now converted into a small restaurant. It is located on main Walton Road, near 7 street, Zaman Colony, Lahore. Entrée prices start at Rs.230 which are served along with a side of rice. They also serve Shawarmas, Burgers, Paninis and Pizzas now.
