What happened: Three police constables have been booked for being involved in the kidnapping of three people for ransom. The police was able to recover the abducted persons from the Chontra area on Thursday. Backstory: The persons were abducted for a ransom of Rs2 million. A resident of Gujranwala, Muhammad Kashif’s brother was one of the three abducted. Kashif contacted the emergency police to help recover his brother and the other two kidnapped.
