What happened : A lawyer and women’s rights activist @nighatdad shares a tweet with the picture of the female cricket team with the trophy for their series against the Windies and wrote, “While boys are making us proud in #T20WorldCup International women’s cricket returns to the National Stadium in Karachi after nearly 16 years.” She advised the cricketing fans too, “Pakistan it’s now your time to support your women’s cricket team equally as we support our boys Pakistan flag punch emoji.” At the same time, the @babarazam-led Pakistan’s men team will compete against the Aussies on the 11th of November, two secure the finals spot for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.
T he men’s team : The Babar Azam-led Pakistan cricket team is currently playing at the T20 World Cup in the UAE and has won 5 out of their five matches in the T20 World Cup. Pakistan team is scheduled to lock horns in the semi-final against Australia on the 11th of November in Dubai.
Also : After nearly 23 years, the Aussies have announced their schedule for the tour to Pakistan. The visitors will play ODIs, tests, and a T20I match in three different cities of Pakistan. T he women’s team : The West Indies women cricket team played one of the three ODIs in Pakistan for the first time since 2006. However, in the first match against the Windies, results were not in favor of the women national team, as the West Indies team beat Pakistan by 45 runs.
