New rules for MDCAT mean no rechecking and no right to object test questions

What happened: The MDCAT 2021 is expected to be held from August to September this year. New regulations have been passed regarding the exam which have worried prospective candidates. Details : Students can appear in the MDCAT exam before the announcement of their intermediate results due to COVID-19 delays and this means over 500,000 students will sit the test. The MDCAT exam questions will not be limited to specific textbooks or the HSSC board syllabus. Each exam paper will have randomly selected questions from the examination questions bank. Each candidate will be given a unique exam paper selected by a computer programme with no candidates being given the same paper. Candidates will not be allowed to object to examination questions or the correct answer. Passing marks shall be 65% and above. Candidates will not be allowed to request rechecking of the test as the checking will be computerised. The results shall be valid for a period of two years.
