Edhi’s statue unveiled at Hockey Chowk in Quetta

What happened: At a ceremony marking Abdul Sattar Edhi’s fifth death anniversary, his son Faisal Edhi unveiled Edhi’s statue which has been installed at the Hockey Chowk in Quetta. The statue is made by Balochistan’s famous sculptor Ishaq Lehri. Details: The statue of the beloved humanitarian is 17-foot tall and four-foot wide. It took three months to complete and is sculpted from fibre. At the ceremony, Balochistan’s Home Minister paid a well-deserved tribute to the late Edhi for his social work and humanitarian services.
