The NCOC also explained the procedure of registration for the vaccine via a tweet.
Get yourself vaccinated! All those above 30 years can get registered by sending CNIC number to 1166. Walk in facility for above 40 years also needs prior registration. It will save your time! pic.twitter.com/ky4yfvmdSW

Impact: With a staggering 22 million people in the age bracket of 30 to 40 years in Pakistan, the vaccine opening for people 30 years of age or above will play a significant role in mitigating the spread of the coronavirus in the country by immunizing a large fraction of the population. Many people have registered for the vaccine.
Just registered for the COVID-19 vaccine in Pakistan!
You can, too; if you’re 30+; it’s 16th May!
Send your CNIC number to 1166 and you’ll get confirmation that your vaccination center and date will be communicated to you soon.

I love how seriously the Government is taking the Vaccine drive in #Pakistan . I sent a msg to 1166 dot at 12am when the 30 + registration opened. Recieved a confirmation within seconds. Honestly didn't expect such efficiency. #CovidFreePakistan #strongAgainstCovid
