According to Rescue 1122 officials, a fire that had broken out in the mountainous region between the Swabi and Buner districts has finally been put out by firefighters after 15 hours of struggle.

What Happened: While the cause of the fire was not known, it was an alarming situation as not only a significant area of the mountainous region between Swabi and Burner had dwindled to ashes but a lot of vegetation and wildlife habitat had been destroyed too. Firefighters from Swabi, Mardan, and Buner districts were called in to help in extinguishing the blaze. Strong winds in the region hampered the efforts to speedily put out the fire, causing its spread out. The fire had been the cause of much concern amongst people of the area.
This is very strange and unusual kind of wildfire in this area. Authorities must take immediate actions.

The fire erupted on the mountains between Swabi and Buner since morning is a serious matter that can lead to a heavy destruction. Provincial Govt must ensure to put out the fire at any cost. This may ruin the beautiful mountains of the Province and may harm the locals too.
