Muslim world is facing an intense dilemma amid a raging pandemic and it’s not concerned with the lives of people which are literally on stake because of lack of resources and faith. This dilemma revolves around Israel recognition as a sovereign state by Muslim nations. Recently a news regarding Israel recognition by Pakistan surfaced mainstream media. Though it was denied by the Prime Minister spokesperson but it does hold a little bit of gravity in it.
What happened: On Monday, a senior Pakistani journalist, Kamran Khan made a controversial stance about Pakistan and Israeli policy which is not well-received by the twitter
Pakistan must also revisit it's Israel policy. Message for we Pakistanis from the Custodians of the Holy Mosques and other brothers in the Arab world.“Nations don't have permanent friends or enemies, only interests” Why is Pakistan shy of exercising its options?

Another senior journalist, Gharida Farooqi also enter the bandwagon by agreeing with Kamran Khan

World is changing. Paradigms are shifting. Policies redrawn. Modern world requires modern, updated, progressive, realist and forward thinking approach. If anything we should have learnt from the developed world, policies are based on reason & development not sentiments. https://t.co/PDiWS52fWZ

Agree a percent. Imagine a Pakistan with clean, drinking water for all! The entire Westbank has access to clean drinking water from every tap. I drank it & prayed that one day Pakistan would collaborate with Israel on water & sanitation.

Pakistan should never ever recognise Israel on the expense of the Holy Land and illegal occupation. KSA is not an ideological country, whereas we have a strong ideology. It's not fair to draw this comparison.
