Kazi Mannan is the owner of Sakina Halal Grill which is one the best food destinations in Washington D.C. This restaurant is very high-end and lavish but its mission is more than just to serve food to the customers. Kazi Mannan recently gave an interview to a local channel and explained his mission, which is to feed the homeless and poor who can’t afford to have lunch at such lavish places.
Kazi told the media that his religious beliefs are the main motivating force behind this mission. He said that it is inhumane to see people dying of hunger when many of us have the privilege to help them out.
If you're in DC, you've probably heard of Sakina. It's a delicious Pakistani restaurant that also feeds the poor and homeless for free.
Now, they need our help. They're underwater during the crisis. Please consider giving if you can: https://t.co/c4oNmIop8i pic.twitter.com/HhTKZ25iye
