Government employs ISI’s tracing system to track Covid-19 cases in Pakistan

The Prime Minister has announced that the government will be using ISI’s tracing system used to track terrorists to track Covid-19 in Pakistan.

Prime Minister Imran Khan revealed earlier on Thursday that the government would be using a system designed to track down terrorists by the country’s intelligence agency ISI. This system will be able to track potential coronavirus cases countrywide. During a live Ehsaas telethon broadcasted to raise funds for corona relief, Khan said, “tracking and testing is the only way to reopen businesses.” With the total number of confirmed cases in Pakistan surging past 10,000, this system may prove to be helpful in tracking cases all over the country.
