Karachi’s Metro has closed down after an employee has tested positive for Covid-19.
Metro made the announcement to close down on its Facebook page saying, “METRO management has decided to close the Safari Store on University Road, Karachi till further notice, as one of our employees tested positive for COVID-19.” Since the news broke out, this branch of Metro is conducting tests on all their employees for Covid-19 as per procedure. Karachi’s superstore has closed until further notice.
“We are conducting COVID-19 tests for all our employees and doing the needful as per the government guidelines and the same has been communicated to the concerned officials.”
