SSP shikarpur threatened by PPP energy minister

Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader and Sindh Energy Minister Imtiaz Ahmed Sheikh had threatened Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Shikarpur Dr. Muhammad Rizwan, who sanctioned a written letter to Inspector General Police (IGP) Sindh Dr. Kaleem Imam, informing that the PPP minister threatened him, his family members’ and his subordinate police officers. Dr. Rizwan, in his detailed letter, blamed Energy Minister Imtiaz Ahmed and some senior Sindh ruling party leaders for hurling life threats. Furthermore, Rizwan warned Imam that due to alleged patronizing of criminals by political leaders, district Shikarpur may witness a serious breakdown of law and order. SSP also accused the energy minister of being allegedly involved in highway robberies, kidnappings for ransom and killing of more than 70 including 13 police officers. The Provincial minister denied all accusations made by the SSP and added that he was being conspired against by the police force.
