An Australian mother has shared a heartbreaking video of her distraught nine-year-old son after he was bullied in school due to suffering from dwarfism.
The video shows her son, Quaden having a breakdown over being constantly bullied at school over his height. “I want people to know how much it is hurting us as a family, I want them to educate their children. The whole anti-bullying campaign is not working,” said the mother in the video. “I have got to constantly keep an eye on him because of the suicidal attempts. This is the effect that bullying has, this is what bullying does,” added Yarraka in the video. The video went viral after which Quaden received support from all around the world. Comedian Brad Williams, who also has dwarfism, saw the video and decided to raise $10,000 to help send Quaden from Australia to Disneyland. “I’m setting up this GoFundMe to let Quaden know that bullying will not be tolerated and that he is a wonderful human being who deserves joy. I want to fly Quaden and his mother to America, get them a nice hotel and bring them to Disneyland,” he wrote in the GoFundMe campaign. The video shows the sort of scars bullying leaves on children and the trauma that parents have to go through.
