Six armed policemen, and three men in plain clothes picked up Mohsin Abdali from his home in Mughalpura around 4 am in the morning. They did not state any charge, or the reason why he was being investigated.
He was sleeping in the room, was shaken awake by the men, who hit him, dragged him out on gunpoint and forced him to sit in a car outside the house. The men, claiming to be law enforcement personnel, verbally abused Mohsin’s parents and took away his laptop. The family was not told in which police station an FIR about his detention could be found. How can the selected regime claim to be a “civilian “ or “elected” govt when it is imprisoning political activists & prosecuting them under sedition charges for participating in a peaceful rally in Islamabad & elsewhere.#ReleaseIslamabadProtestors #ReleaseMohsinAbdali
