On Friday, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that the progress and prosperity of the people of Sindh was one of the top priorities of the government.
The PM announced that prosperity of the Sindh people is one of the government’s top priorities and all possible steps would be taken to reach this goal. He made this announcement while speaking to a delegation of the government allied parties from Sindh, which called on him there. Governor Sindh Imran Ismail was the one leading this delegation. During the meeting they discussed progress on the ongoing social welfare and development projects in the Sindh province. The delegates informed the Prime Minister of the difficulties they were facing during the implementation of the roadmap for the development and prosperity of the people of Sindh. By the end of the meeting, they had agreed to appoint focal persons in the federal ministries on the topic of resolving the issues relating to Sindh. Imran Khan claimed that the basic agenda of the PTI government was the eradication of corruption. He further explained that corruption at any cost would not be tolerated as it had already deprived the country of development and prosperity. He also said that the process of accountability across the board would be continued uninterrupted throughout the entire country. The meeting was attended by Kishwar Zuhra, Kanwar Naveed Jamil, Faisal Sabzwari, Khwaja Izharul Hassan, Muhammad Hussain Khan, Hameed ul Zafar and Muhammad Rashid ul Khilji of Mutahhida Quami Movement and Dr Fahmida Mirza, Ghous Baksh Mahar, Arbab Ghulam Raheem, Murtaza Jatoi, Ayaz Palejo, Safdar Abbasi, Zulfikar Mirza and Ali Gohar of Grand Democratic Alliance.
