Nawaz Sharif reportedly suffered from a heart attack this morning, according to sources. However this claim has now been refuted by the hospital The former premier is reportedly suffering from angina. Currently, his platelet count is too low to allow him to travel, and he has also refused to take NRO from Imran Khan, telling his family that he will receive treatment in Pakistan. However, sources are saying he will be traveling abroad for treatment regardless. Nawaz Sharif was reportedly transported to the hospital late at night, but was woken at 5 am and told he would be going back to jail. Sometime between these events he had a heart attack, according to sources. Last night he was visited by the CEO of Shaukat Khanum who personally came to check on his health; the Punjab Governor also called upon him to inquire about his condition, however Nawaz refused to meet him. Amidst all this, the Chairman of NAB has said that the responsibility of Nawaz Sharif’s health goes to the Services Hospital management. However, according to sources, the NAB Chairman has been given a notice of dismissal shortly after this statement. This is a developing story.
