r r r r World Economic Forum convened Annual Meeting of World leaders in the Swiss Mountains of Davos. Nearly 3000 delegates from various spheres gathered for five-days sessions to voice their perspective on the pressing world issues .

r r r r The World Economic Forum commenced with a warning from its founder Professor Klaus Schwab about the adverse impact humanity is having on the environment and called for international co-operation on promulgating sustainable solutions.

This year’s meeting mounted the theme Globalization 4.0: Shaping a Global Architecture in the Age of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

r r r r Chinese Vice President Wang Qishan during a dialogue with Klaus Schwab, the founder of WEF focused on five areas ‘China’s Economic Growth, Anti-Globalization wave, Fourth Industrial Revolution , US-China trade war and Global Economy.

r r r r In response to the slow pace of China’s economy, Wang emphasized on sustainable growth. He stated that China weighs growth quality,structure and efficiency over the growth speed.

r r r r China’s President talked about inevitable nature of globalization:

Referring to US-China Relations, he underscored that both the countries are inseparable. History has shown that the relations between both the nations move more smoothly when core interests are taken care of.

r r r r New Zealand’s Prime Minister and Prince William vowed to break the shackles of societal stigma surrounding mental health.
