A Lithuanian man stole $122 million from Facebook and Google by sending fake invoices

What happened:  Back in 2019, a Lithuanian man managed to steal $99 million from Facebook and 23 million dollars from Google with a plan. The plan constituted him sending invoices to the tech giants for items they had never ordered,  “astonishingly both companies paid up.”  Details:  The Lithuanian man identified as Evaldas Rimasauskas was eventually discovered by Google and is now facing charges of US wire fraud, aggravated identity theft, and money laundering.  More:  However, Rimasauskas has agreed to forfeit 50 million dollars but can still face up to 30 years imprisonment!
