As raids continue, Punjab police officer shot dead allegedly by PTI worker Sajid Hussain 

What happened:   On Tuesday at 1:40 AM, police officers raided the house of a PTI worker Sajid Hussain in Lahore’s Model Town Area. The Punjab Police officers raided Sajid Hussain’s house, and during the raid, an unidentified man opened fire from the roof of Sajid’s house hitting constable Kamal Ahmed in the chest.  Details: Kamal Ahmed was shot in the chest, and the police claimed that the fire came from inside the house. Kamal Ahmed was moved to Lahore General Hospital, where he succumbed to injuries. However, the Punjab Police arrested the PTI worker and his son Akram as an FIR was lodged under 302, 34, 324, 186, 353, and 427 of the Pakistan Penal Code, and Section 7 of the Anti-Terrorism Act 1997 was added. Samaa quotes development as,  “The police said both Hussain and Akrama have confessed to the killing of Ahmed. However, a forensic report was awaited to identify the culprit.”
