“Bookblocks” an NFT company, aims to help Afghan women get education

What happened:   An NFT company named Bookclocks.io had collaborated with a New York-based firm to help the women in Afghanistan gain access to education. On October 5, the company launched “Cointelegraph” NFT and the proceeds from the sale were to be donated to the Women for Afghan Women Organization. VOI quotes the head of AWO Naheed Samadi Bahram as,  “We are committed to serving Afghan women and girls in Afghanistan and refugees arriving in the US.” What else: In October 2021, another NFT project by the name of  CARE Packages  raised more than 200,000 dollars to help the Afghans in need. CARE has worked in Afghanistan since 1961 and has provided thousands of Afghan families with critical aid, shelter, education, health care, and clean water. At the same time, the  CARE Crypto Fund for Humanitarian Aid  aims to raise ten million dollars by the end of 2022 to empower Afghan families.
