Child Labour Laws in Pakistan: Under the Mines Act of 1923, the minimum age for entry to work is 15 years, while the minimum age for employment is 14 years under the Employment of Children Act of 1991 , which is now efficient in Islamabad, Balochistan, and Sindh. According to Article 25(A) of the Constitution, the state is required to provide compulsory education to all children aged five to sixteen which means that children below this age are not permitted to work.
