Drinking three cups of tea daily might increase longevity, according to a study published in The Lancet Regional Health – Western Pacific.

Researchers from Sichuan University in Chengdu, China, analyzed tea-drinking habits in 5,998 British participants aged 37 to 73 and 7,931 Chinese participants aged 30 to 79.

The study found that regular tea drinkers exhibited slower signs of ageing. These individuals were predominantly male, followed a healthier diet, consumed alcohol in moderation, and were less prone to anxiety and insomnia.
