What you need to know: The murder case of a 33-year-old man abducted from Faisal Town and later killed, allegedly by three policemen, has been solved. The victim, Farrukh Arshad, was kidnapped by three officers: Muazam Hussain from Garden Town police station, Ejaz from Township police station, and Hamza, a dismissed Dolphin Squad constable.
What more: Muazam and Ejaz are in custody, while Hamza remains at large. On August 18, they took Farrukh to Flat No. 32 in Sharif Plaza, Ichhra, intending financial gain. Farrukh attempted to escape by jumping from the roof but tragically died. Afterward, Muazam disposed of Farrukh’s phone and wallet in Shahdara.
