What happened: Deep Dive Dubai opened on July 7 and is named the world’s deepest diving pool by the Guinness World Records. People can dive 60 metres (197 ft) into a sunken city-themed landscape and play arcade games.
Details : The pool is nearly 200 feet deep and can hold almost 3.7 million gallons of water. The pool resembles a “sunken city” that divers can explore either on their own or with a guide. There are two air-filled dry rooms on the way down, including an apartment building, library and an arcade with a vintage Pac-Man machine, foosball and pool table. Bookings are by invitation only. Actor and rapper Will Smith wrote about his visit in an Instagram post.
