A dunkin donut factory was temporarily sealed after being caught using substandard and expired products in Karachi’s SITE Industrial area. The Sindh Food Authority conducted a raid at the Dunkin Donuts factory and found expired and sub standard products that being used to make donut frosting and the donuts themselves. A fine was then imposed of Rs250,000 and the factory was sealed immediately. Expired bunties and sub-standard ingredients were found at the factory. The SFA team also found unrefined items which had been intermixed. SFA Operations Director Imtiaz Abro discarded the substandard food items and sealed the factory at the spot.
