Entrepreneur Umer Hussain & Illustrator Amara Sikander are making protective gear for doctors and selling it for Rs100

As new cases keep on increasing day by day, Pakistan’s resources at providing protective gear for the people fighting the virus on the front line are decreasing exponentially too. However, there are people out there who’re trying to help as much as they can. Among those people are Umer Hussain and Amara Sikander.

We came across their initiative of making protective gear for doctors, police and army over facebook. In a facebook post, Amara Sikander writes that she along with the CEO of Sweet Tooth, Umer Hussain, have started production of protective gear for doctors, army and police officers. They say they’ll be selling the protective gear for only Rs100 while many other outlets (not specified in the post) are selling for 3000 or even 7000. Umer and Amara say their initial target is 5 lac suits and 5 lack masks. Both of them urge the public to donate to them whatever they can. Be it be masks, hand santisers or money.
