Chelsea go through: The second leg of the semi final between Chelsea FC and Real Madrid commenced last night at Stamford Bridge in London. From the get-go Chelsea looked energetic and looked to have the intent to go through against the star studded Real Madrid. Timo Werner’s early goal in the 28th minute diminished any resolve Real Madrid had until the second half, where they looked like they were going to make a comeback as Chelsea missed easy chance over easy chance. However, Madrid’s hopes were put to bed as young Mason Mount scored the second goal in the 85th minute making it 3-1 on aggregate.
"When we started under the new manager we were 10th in the league."
"Now we are on the road to a top-four finish, we can win the Champions League, we can win the FA Cup."
Timo Werner is delighted with Chelsea's form under Tuchel!

Return of UCL after ESL drama: The past week of football has been rewarding for football fans across the globe, as UCL, UEL, and domestic league action resumed after the anxiety and the uncertain anticipation of the European Super League uprooting football as we know it. However, the lead followed by other clubs of the English clubs withdrawing from the league has put that idea to rest for now, and has started a global fan-led movement to charge and remove the people responsible at their clubs for the ‘coup’. This was seen at Old Trafford, home of Manchester United as fans rushed into the stadium, postponing the clash with Liverpool over demands that the Glazer family leave ownership of the club.

All English final: This will be the second time in three years where both the finalists are from England. Previously, Liverpool and Tottenham faced each other off in the 2019 Champions League final. The past four years have seen an uptick in English dominance of European football, as 5 out of 8 finalists have been from England.
