What happened: The Information and Broadcasting minister, Fawad Chaudhry, stated that the government should not be involved in issues like Aurat March. Details: A local publication quoted the development as, “Fawad Ch, rejecting the demands to prohibit the Aurat March, stated that the government should not become involved in topics such as what clothing to wear and what not to wear.” At the same time, the federal minister noted, “If we begin to make such judgments, India will follow.”
