What happened: Fawad Chaudhry the Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting tweeted about the need for judicial reforms after recent high court decision to ban TikTok. He further linked judicial reforms to economic crisis, saying that the economic situation of the country won’t improve without judicial reforms. He also pointed out that the country had lost billions of dollars in economy due to judicial activism.

Backstory: Sindh High Court ordered Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) earlier this week to block TikTok in the country till July 8.
