Ali Zar Chusu, a recent LUMS graduate and a part-time shoda has been reported to mention “ LUMS ” 20 times when talking to a girl at a birthday of his friend’s friend at Bedian.”I really don’t know why he mentioned Lums at all, I was just wondering who this guy is and what the hell he is doing at my party” shared the birthday girl with The Gaanda. She described the incident as just “ plain weird”. When the faculty at LUMS found out about the incident, they immediately went an registered it with the National Record Board. “The last record came about 15 years ago, when a lady mentioned it 5 times and we thought it was revolutionary then but this is a whole different ball game” . The professor told the media. “I really don’t know why he mentioned Lums at all, I was just wondering who this guy is and what the hell he is doing at my party” shared the birthday girl with The Gaanda. She described the incident as just “ plain weird”. When The Gaanda questioned Ali Zar about his favourite memory from LUMS, he recalled dressing up like “ an awami Pakistani ” on Paindu Day, stating “it was the most raw experience I have ever had; in that moment I felt so connected to every Pakistani. Especially those who can’t afford to study at LUMS.” Ali Zar graduated from LUMS with a 2.2 GPA and majored in Anthropology. He will soon be opening up a dhaba with money from his dad’s real estate business.
