‘I have no hesitation in issuing an apology to Nawaz,” Broadsheet CEO apologises to former PM for corruption allegations

What happened: In a rather shocking revelation, the CEO of Broadsheet has rendered an apology to the former prime minister Nawaz Sharif as he withdrew all the corruption allegations against Sharif. At the same time, the CEO Kaveh Moussavi stated,  “The corruption allegations were a part of a witch hunt that has been running in the name of accountability for over two decades.”  Murtuza Ali Shah took Moussavi’s interview and noted,  “To set the record straight in my 21 years of investigation, I had not found a scintilla of evidence and not one rupee during Broadsheet’s forensic investigation against Nawaz Sharif or his family.”  Details: Kaveh Moussavi alleged, “The investigation was sabotaged because the intention was something else and the intention of the probe, as asked by Musharraf.”  It is pertinent to mention that Moussavi’s claims deny allegations that Nawaz Sharif’s family had contacted him for bribes.  More:   In his recent interview, the Broadsheet CEO had made more claims,  “21 years ago when Musharraf asked us to investigate, we were led to believe and started investigating, and at every turn we found that the investigation was sabotaged…”
