Justice Qazi Faez Isa reveals former CJ Asif Saeed Khosa asked him to resign

In a fresh review petition in the apex court, Supreme Court (SC) judge Justice Qazi Faez Isa said that former Chief Justice Asif Saeed Khosa had asked him to resign and informally told him about a presidential reference to pressure him into stepping down. The judge wrote, that, “Ex CJP Khosa had earlier spoken to the petitioner on the walking track behind the Supreme Court’s Building, ‘informally’ telling the petitioner about a Reference that was to secure resignation.”.  Justice Isa has called on the SC to order the authorities to broadcast live hearings of the review petition. He also accused PM Imran Khan’s aides of owning properties abroad. In the Friday petition,  Justice Isa restated that he does not possess any offshore properties in London but many senior members of the government possess them.
