Koi bachi kuchi izzat to woh bacha ker bhaago, Maryam Nawaz urges PTI

What happened: On March 18, Maryam Nawaz, vice-president of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), urged the government to resign and leave “if it had any sense of shame left.””God willing, you won’t be able to save the government, but if you have any shame left, save it and depart,” Maryam tweeted on her official Twitter, referring to Prime Minister Imran Khan.  Details: Earlier in the day, violent ruling party activists stormed Sindh House in Islamabad, citing “security threats” from their own party, to protest dissident MPs staying at the PPP-led province government’s facilities. They chanted slogans against a number of alienated MPs who stated they would vote against their party’s line in the no-trust motion filed against Prime Minister Imran Khan in the National Assembly. What else: Murtaza Wahab, the Karachi Administrator and PPP Spokesperson, took to Twitter to say that PTI lawmakers and workers have once again demonstrated that Sindh House requires protection and that greater Sindh Police and SSU deployment is required. Meanwhile, Federal Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry said the region around Sindh House is a “highly sensitive place” because significant persons’ mansions, including the chief justice’s, are also nearby.
