ICC’s love for Virat Kohli takes the meaning of fangirling to a whole new level!

The International Cricket Committee’s official twitter account seems to have a bit of a crush on Kohli! In all seriousness though, it does look like the ICC can’t get enough of Virat Kohli, the Indian Team’s captain. The thing is, Virat is pretty popular in general. He’s a great cricketer, married a Bollywood (and now Hollywood) star and he has a lot of endorsements! Kohli generally fits all the criteria for a popular figure. But it does seem a bit odd how much ICC’s twitter account loves him, especially given what many suspect of the ICC. And look, we get it, sometimes Virat does really deserve the praise.
Like when he showed us what the true meaning behind sportsmanship is

And we guess this is a pretty good way to remind people when the match is…

Even their retweet game is just plain questionable

You’d think for a body that is supposed to represent a number of different countries would at least try to hide it’s bias. But guess not.

And if you’re talking about two WHOLE teams, then why are you just putting up a photo of Virat’s face?!
"Both teams will be quietly happy with that result."
In the latest Review, @Bazmccullum tells @PathakRidhima both India and New Zealand will be happy sharing the points after the washout.
