An FIR was lodged by Saeed Khan with the Khaki police station claiming that Rohit Khan murdered his wife and her alleged lover in the name of honour, inside a house in Akbarabad, Khawajgan area, and fled immediately. Saeed Khan told the police that the murderer was wielding a gun and told him about the killings while fleeing. The bodies were shifted to the King Abdullah Teaching Hospital, where the required medical and legal procedures were carried out before handing the bodies to the respective families. An FIR under sections 302 (Punishment for murder) and 311 (offense that has been committed in the name or on the pretext of honour) of the Pakistan Penal Code has been registered, and the police continue to search for the suspect.
