Muslim teenage girls attacked and subjected to racial slurs in Canada

What happened: Two teenage sisters working at St. John’s where they worked were yelled racial slurs, and the man also slapped one of the sisters. CBC quoted Asmahan and Malak Al Salloum as,  “They were on a break from their part-time jobs at the Mary’d Dinner on Torbay Road around 9 pm on May 6 when a man started yelling at them.”  Details:   Malak is a Grade 9 student, while Asmahan is graduating from high school this year; as the sisters claimed,  “We were targeted because we are Muslims, and we wear hijabs.”  The sisters claim that they were hurled abuses before they started yelling back. At the same time, the video on social media showed that one of the girls shows the man getting close to Malak’s face before slapping her.
