Hassan Niazi, the nephew of premier Imran Khan, was a part of the mob of lawyers that attacked the Punjab Institute of Cardiology on Wednesday. Niazi, who is an advocate, can be seen in the footage throwing stones at people and even damaging a police vehicle. One social media user who shared the video on Twitter questioned whether would not face any charges against him due to his connection with the Prime Minister.

When the protest turned violent, the premier’s nephew tweeted out a warning that the protest had ceased to be peaceful and blamed the ensuing chaos on the absence of the Punjab government.

The lawyer further tweeted that he felt ashamed of himself, and that his support and protest was limited to initiation of legal action against the concerned doctors.
