What happened: On May 13, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) appointed a new prosecutor in the money laundering case against Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Punjab Chief Minister Hamza Shehbaz. Details: On May 14 (today), a special court in Lahore will indict the Prime Minister and his son in the Rs16 billion money laundering case. The court had previously urged the premier and others to assure their attendance at the next hearing because there would be no further adjournments. PM Shehbaz, on the other hand, is now in London as part of a PML-N delegation to meet with Nawaz Sharif.
