NFL player takes 90 high school kids to his football game

Why Trent Brown bused kids from his high school three hours to watch the Patriots in Atlanta - The Boston Globe

What happened: Offensive tackle, Trent Brown contacted Westover High football coach Adam Miller with a surprise for his high school team. The American footballer said he was going to take them to the Patriots-Falcons game at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Thursday night. Details: The New England offensive lineman attended Albany, Georgia’s Westover High School, where he graduated in 2011. Brown’s return to the Patriots in the off season meant he’d be visiting Atlanta during the 2021 season, and the big man wanted to repay his former university. Brown bused 90 Westover students to the game on Thursday night, a roughly three-hour journey. He also provided them with food for the ride as well as concessions gift cards. They were also given a tour of the stadium prior to the game. More: Brown and the Patriots won, 25-0, in front of the Westover kids. Following his return last week, Brown has remained a critical part of the New England offensive line, protecting rookie quarterback Mac Jones while also opening up some massive openings for the Patriots’ rushing backs.
