What happened : The government announced that it has granted Pakistanis living abroad the right to vote in the National Assembly. This decision was made as part of the Election Act Amendment Bill. Zulfiqar Bukhari the former special assistant to the Prime Minister for overseas Pakistanis confirmed this news and praised Prime minister Imran Khan and his government for his momentous decision.
