What you need to know: On Saturday, Pakistan sent its 13th shipment of relief supplies to support the people in the besieged areas of Palestine and Lebanon. This shipment was sent via a special flight from Islamabad to Amman, the capital of Jordan. It included 100 tonnes of winterized tents and blankets, gathered by the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) under the direction of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.


What more: Since the onset of the Israeli aggression, Pakistan has delivered nearly 1,381 tonnes of humanitarian aid to the affected populations in Gaza and Lebanon. The situation has escalated as Israel has ramped up its ground operations and airstrikes in the Gaza Strip following Hamas’ attacks on October 7, 2023.
