Renowned activist and motivational speaker in India, Sabarimala embraces Islam 

Details: Sabrimala Jayakanthan, now Fatima, has embraced Islam as GlobalVIllageSpace quotes,  “Amid growing hostility and persecution toward Muslims in India.”  After reading the Holy Quran, the Indian human rights activist, Sabrimala Jayakanthan, embraced Islam. It is pertinent to mention that she is also a prominent South Indian motivational speaker and social activist.  Also:   Subsequently, after embracing Islam, Sabrimala, now Fatima, reached Makkah to perform Umrah in the holy month of Ramazan, and a video of her reciting Shahadah while standing in the Grand Mosque of Makkah is viral on social media. Fatima is also quoted by a publication saying,  “I changed my name to Fatimah out of love and respect for Prophet Muhammad SAW’s daughter.”  In another video, Sabrimala said,  “I questioned myself that why is there so much hate for Muslims in our nation. I began reading the Quran out of curiosity and without any prior prejudice and then I knew the answer.”  She further added,  “Now I love Islam more than myself.”
