Former member of the National Assembly, MQM leader, TV anchor and current member of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf opened up about his one week stint at a spiritual retreat in an exclusive interview with ProperGaanda. ‘Ever since joining the PTI, I have been feeling adrift,’ says Liaqat ‘Imran finally suggested that I go to the spiritual retreat that helped him get his act together when Nawaz’s party won the 2014 elections.’ Liaqat claims that his chakras are much more aligned than before. In his quest to achieve spiritual nirvana, Liaqat says he will be redoing his current wardrobe and switching out all his embroidered black ajkans for white shalwar kameez. He even proudly showed us his two month chip for refraining from swearing; a difficult feat to achieve for the show host previously prone to using profane language. Moreover, Liaqat shared that in the upcoming month of Ramadan, he will be hosting a web series produced by PTI called ‘container conversation’. ‘I have already spoken to DJ Butt and he is fully on board with the project,’ says Liaqat.
