Sehat Insaf Cardholders still facilitated to provide free medical facilities citywide

What happened: It is pertinent to mention that previously, reports suggested that private and public health care hospitals have refused to provide health care facilities to the Sehat Insaf Cardholders for free. However, as the Express Tribune’s report quotes,  “The State Life Insurance has issued a letter to more than 1,000 hospitals on the panel to continue treatment of patients under the Sehat Insaf Card.”  Details: Whereas, a previous report by Express Tribune quoted,  “Hospitals’ management was concerned about the reimbursement of expenses to be incurred under the health card after the PTI government was voted out of the power.”   On the other hand, the service provider has noted,  “All of Pakistan’s panel hospitals would comply with the agreement, and all panel hospitals will give all required medical treatment to all patients covered by the health care.”  More: Subsequently, the hospitals have been asked to provide free treatment to the patients under the card facility and the charges will be covered. At the same time, Express Tribune quoted a hospital’s management,  “The hospitals’ management are concerned about how the money will be collected from the new government if the PTI government doesn’t stay.”
