Students in Hong Kong sit for exams despite Covid-19 concerns

Thousands of students in Hong Kong sat for their final secondary school exams on Friday despite Covid-19 concerns.

The students wore masks as they took their exams this Friday. The Diploma of Secondary Education examination went ahead with the exams after a four-week delay as the number of new coronavirus cases has fallen in Hong Kong. Students were asked to arrive early for temperature checks, with face masks being mandatory. Hand sanitizer was available at the venue and desks were arranged six feet apart. Students were also required to present a health declaration form upon arrival. Many students were hesitant about taking the exams in the first place saying that they would be risking their lives for admissions into universities.
