Thanks to a retired civil servant for blessing Lahore with this lovely garden

Details: Recently, Team Propergaanda came across this beautiful garden located in Green Acres Society, Lahore, which is owned and maintained by Chaudhry Tanvir Ahmed, a retired civil servant, and his team of six gardeners who have been assisting him since a very long time. The garden is a result of Mr. Tanveer’s love for floriculture as it has also been winning the prize for Pakistan’s best country house for the past 30 years.  Back story: Mr.Tanvir’s son, Barrister Ahmed Pansota told Propergaanda that his father belongs to a village in Faisalabad and is pretty fond of floriculture, “He considers it to be his passion, him and his wife spend the majority of the year planning the spring season and then cherish it with full joy,” Barrister Pansota added. About the garden: According to the Barrister, the flowering session takes place once a year which starts in mid March and lasts till 1st week of April, “It requires hard work for the next 9- 10 months and then in summer you have to treat the soil, and start planting them in the  months of September and October.” Mr.Tanvir and his team work hard on the maintenance as they look after the basic gardening treatment, including the watering, saving the plants from frost. More: Barrister Pansota further added that the garden is home to flowers like petunia, pansies, antirrhinums, marigold, “These are mainly seasonal flowers.”
